Users choose between different activities proposed depending:
- The type of activity
- The Destination
- The period
The platform displays a series of activities that match the user’s selections, and users make their choice.
To make a request, users pay to Gastronomy Tours online which is refunded immediately if the request is rejected.
The Activity provider then receives an email, informing that someone made a reservation for a certain Activity, a certain number of visitors, day, and time. The Activity Provider must respond within 24 hours at the latest, otherwise, the visitor will receive an automated message that the Activity is unavailable.
Suppose the Activity provider accepts the request by clicking “Accept request” in response to the email above. In that case, the visitor will receive an e-mail with the reservation and other important details which will be used as proof of reservation.
If the Activity provider does not wish to accept the request, they press “Reject request” and the visitor will receive an email informing them that the Activity is unavailable. The amount deposited during the reservation is then immediately refunded. The Activity Provider in that case can give alternative dates to the user. If they suit the user, the user may apply again with the new dates.
