Thessaloniki is once again preparing to celebrate Northern Greece’s wines, winemaking traditions, and vibrant wine culture with VorOina 2026, the annual wine event organised by the Winemakers of Northern Greece association.
A highlight of the region’s wine calendar, VorOina brings together wine enthusiasts, wine industry professionals, and curious visitors to explore the diversity, quality, and character of Northern Greek wines.
Taking place on Monday, 19 October 2026, from 14:00 to 21:00 at the Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki, the event invites visitors to meet winemakers, discover local wine varieties, and taste wines from some of Northern Greece’s most renowned wine-producing regions.
Shaped by distinctive landscapes, unique microclimates, and centuries of winemaking heritage, Northern Greece’s wines reflect their origins while showcasing the innovation and creativity of contemporary Greek winemaking.
