Description
Welcome to Thessaloniki and to Chef Levi’s intimate cooking workshop in the heart of the city, where food, history, and family traditions come together.
This unique hands-on cooking experience is deeply connected to Chef Levi’s personal story and the kitchen of his grandmother, where Sephardic recipes, aromas, and culinary traditions were passed down through generations.
For Chef Levi, cooking is much more than preparing food, it is a way of preserving memories, celebrating identity, and sharing the stories of a community through authentic flavours.
A Culinary Journey Through Sephardic Heritage
Thessaloniki was once home to one of the most important Sephardic Jewish communities in the Mediterranean. Their presence left a lasting mark on the city’s culture, traditions, and gastronomy.
During this experience, Chef Levi will introduce you to the history behind the recipes, the meaning of each ingredient, and the traditions that have been preserved through family kitchens for generations.
Together with the professional chefs, you will cook, learn, and reconnect with flavours that represent both a family legacy and an important chapter of Thessaloniki’s cultural heritage.
Sephardic Cooking Experience
Step into Chef Levi’s kitchen and discover the techniques, flavours, and stories behind some of the most characteristic dishes of Sephardic cuisine.
Together with the chefs, you will prepare traditional recipes using authentic ingredients while learning the methods and secrets that make these dishes unique.
