The vision and the idea for a traditional winery started from our father Kyriakos Karagiozidis, who was a nature lover, philanthropist, and a musician amateur with a special sense of taste. In 1993 he planted, in the viticultural zone of Angelochori in Naoussa, Macedonia, the first vines from Agiorgitiko and Syrah varieties, aiming to produce natural wines.
This family tradition was born and got consolidated more and more over time.
The joy of experimentation led to a great legacy of knowledge of producing fine wines and spirits. In the cellar, one can find bottles of the latest harvest of natural wines and selected mature spirits from the Xinomavro variety.
The Kappa winery was built in 2021 at the organically cultivated vineyard of the Karagiozidis family and received its first grapes in 2021. The winery includes venues to receive up to 300 people.
Tour and Tasting
The visit begins with a tour of our estate in the wine production and ageing premises. Then the guests can taste some of our best wines, accompanied by delicious snacks.
