The “Great Red Wines” (GRW) 🍷✨ is an exclusive annual event held since 2014. It invites guests to explore the world of exceptional red wines from Greece and around the globe. This prestigious tasting experience is a journey through remarkable vintages meticulously curated to showcase wines of unparalleled quality 🌎🍇.
Handpicked Greek wineries, renowned for their timeless excellence, present their finest red wine of the current vintage alongside aged selections to reveal their unique ageing potential. Guests will also have the chance to discover exceptional aged and experimental wines rarely available on the open market. For connoisseurs with private cellars or those planning to create one, GRW offers a treasure trove of wines worthy of ageing 🏆🥂.
The event also features a stunning collection of internationally acclaimed wines, including iconic and historical labels from the world’s most celebrated vineyards 🌍🍾.
ENTRY POLICY
Given the rarity and high value of many wines, about half the selections require a small tasting fee for a 50ml pour, served in a marked Riedel crystal glass* 🥂. This is managed with tokens; each exhibitor sets the number needed per label (10 tokens are included in the entry ticket). Greek wines from current vintages are typically available for complimentary tastings.
🎟️ The entry fee is €50, which includes ten €3 tokens (covering €20 for entry and €30 in tokens). Additional tokens can be purchased at the event’s reception desk. Tickets bought through this platform carry no extra fees for online processing 🖥️💳.
Adding to the experience are three exclusive master classes, each for 14 guests, available by separate reservation 🧑🏫🍷.
