Description
The Kokotos Estate dates back to the 1970s when George Kokotos and his family abandoned city life and settled in Stamata to build a home and create a small vineyard in the hills north of Athens.
The vineyards and home of the Kokotos family, situated on the slopes of Mount Pendeli, have stunning panoramic views.
TOUR AND TASTING
The tour begins with a walk through the vineyards with the panoramic view of mountains Penteli, Parnitha & Evia and a brief description of cultivation methods, followed by a tour of the winery and barrel cellar with an explanation of winemaking techniques. We then have a tasting of 7 different wines, accompanied by cheeses, breads and charcuterie.
