Wine Art Estate

Wine Art Estate was founded by civil engineer Yannis Papadopoulos and architect Yannis Kalaitzidis — two accomplished professionals united by a passion for wine. The adventure began in 1993 when Papadopoulos started cultivating a small family vineyard at Mikrohori, a village in the Drama prefecture of Macedonia, making wine as a personal passion. Two years later, in 1995, Kalaitzidis joined, and together they created Wine Art Estate — launching their first red, white, and rosé wines under the celebrated Techni Alipias brand, which very quickly earned its place among Greece’s finest new-quality wines. The first part of the elegant, contemporary winery of the Wine Art Estate was built in 1998, followed in 2007 by its extension to the other side of the road. Work was completed in 2008, resulting in two beautiful building complexes the two towers of which are parallel to each other at the ends of the two complexes and are fine examples of elegant architectural harmony.
