The winemakers of Crete are gearing up for the 17th annual “Oenotica” Exhibition in Chania, a collaborative effort by the Cretan Wine Association. Hosted in the Region of Crete, specifically the Regional Unit of Chania, this event promises to be a celebration of Cretan wine craftsmanship.
Visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to sample both new releases and aged vintages from 35 esteemed Cretan wineries. Engage directly with the passionate winemakers, and gain insights into the collective initiatives of Wines of Crete. Moreover, the exhibition will host an organized wine shop offering bottles for sale at a nominal price, with a portion of the proceeds earmarked for the “Horizon” association, dedicated to supporting children and adults battling cancer.

- 12:30 – 14:00 | Masterclass “New Arrivals” Dive into the latest offerings from Crete’s wineries! Join Yroe Koliakoudaki, Dip WSET, as she curates a selection of this year’s new releases for an in-depth tasting and presentation.
- 15:30 – 16:30 | Wine Seminar in English: “Introduction to Cretan Wines” Perfect for both newcomers and long-time residents, this seminar, conducted in English by wine expert Anna Maria Kampouraki, will explore the rich history of Cretan wine, its diverse grape varieties, and distinctive terroirs. A tasting session will accompany the informative talk.
