The event “Greek Distillate,” a unique opportunity to explore and taste Greek spirits and liqueurs crafted by the country’s finest producers, returns on January 19th at the “Lighthouse” of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
On this date, visitors can immerse themselves in the “Greek Distillate” exhibition, sampling traditional and contemporary Greek spirits and liqueurs. Featured offerings include tsipouro, tsikoudia, ouzo, fruit distillates, liqueurs, Corfiot kumquat, and more.
This event provides a chance to appreciate these products’ distinct quality and craftsmanship, setting them apart from mass-market alternatives. Learn how to enjoy these spirits, either on their own or paired with complementary flavours, with the help of various presentations and activities that will be announced shortly.
The exhibition will occur at SNFCC’s “Lighthouse,” a venue offering stunning panoramic views of Athens, Piraeus, and the Saronic Gulf. The space is fully accessible for people with disabilities. Doors are open from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a brief intermission from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Tickets are available online at tickets.vinetum.gr or at the venue entrance. As tickets are limited, early purchase is advised, as availability at the door cannot be guaranteed.
