OAKMEAL began in 2015 and is the first and only company in the world that commercially makes delicious and nutritious gluten-free flour from acorns. The company sells flour to other producers of food and cosmetics worldwide. OAKMEAL’s Acorn Cookies are sold worldwide. Marcie, OAKMEAL’s founder, is considered the world’s expert on working with acorns and has written a book, Eating Acorns, available on Amazon. OAKMEAL hosts volunteers from around the world each Autumn to help collect acorns across Kea island. OAKMEAL also buys acorns from several areas of Greece as well as Kea island.

Guided oak walk with information about acorns, on one of the ancient paths on Kea Island with a tasting of the world-famous cookies made from acorns, as well as a vegan option in the form of energy bars.
