Description
In the fertile ravine of Mylopotamos on the island of Kea (also called Tzia), our family cultivates and produces a large variety of delicious handmade products using traditional recipes. At the Aristaios store you will find fresh fruit and vegetables from our gardens, wild capers and caper leaves, local olive oil and olives, the local wine of mavroudi variety and tsipouro, handmade trahana, pasta from acorn flour, traditional liqueurs, fruit in syrup, marmalades, sun-dried tomatoes and sun-dried figs, wild island herbs, thyme honey and pasteli, and local cheeses like kopanisti, xerotyri, and xinotiri.
Immerse yourself in a hiking adventure on Kea’s ancient footpaths, which wind through captivating landscapes and lead to hidden historical treasures. The trails serve as storytellers, whispering tales of bygone eras as you venture toward Karthea, an archaeological gem nestled amidst breathtaking vistas.
