In the beautiful small village of Kapsia in Arcadia, Peloponnese, at the heart of the Mantinia viticultural zone and beside the enchanting fir forests of Mount Mainalon, the old mansion of grandfather Evangelos Kalogris was painstakingly restored using traditional architectural materials and methods. Evangelos Kalogris junior — fully respecting his grandfather’s wishes — opened the mansion’s doors to the public, creating a small traditional family winery that holds the distinction of being the first winery in the Peloponnese certified as visitable by the Greek Ministry of Tourism.
