The Annual Wine Tasting and Sampling Exhibition, taking place this year at the Athens Conservatory from 12:00 to 20:00, serves as a gathering point for enthusiasts of distinguished Greek wines and consumers and professionals from the hospitality and wine trade industries.
At the Winemakers’ Tables, visitors will explore the rich variety of wines from the vineyards of Northern Greece, stretching from Mount Olympus to Epirus and across Macedonia. Upon receiving a special wine-tasting glass at the entrance, attendees can sample a wide array of wine styles: whites, blanc de noir, orange, rosé, and reds; still and sparkling; dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, and sweet; single-variety or blends. Additionally, impressive distillates, including long-aged ones, will be available for tasting.
But the experience doesn’t stop there! Guests can try experimental wines, fresh vintages from the 2024 harvest, older vintages, unique bottle sizes, and other exceptional wine creations.
In true “Voroina” fashion, the winemakers’ tables will be organized according to the eight wine routes of the “Wine Roads of Northern Greece.” This setup allows visitors to explore local varieties and wine styles from the unique terroirs of the Northern Greek vineyards:
