Vegoritis Winery is located in Macedonia, in the heart of the Florina prefecture’s Amyndaeon region, on the outskirts of Agios Panteleimon — surrounded by the four lakes of Zazari, Himaditida, Petron, and Vegoritis. This four-lakes vineyard is the most important part of the Amyndaeon Protected Designation of Origin zone: the most mountainous vineyard in Greece at 700 metres altitude, and at 850 hectares the largest vineyard in Macedonia. The dominant variety is Xinomavro — and Vegoritis’s philosophy is to produce quality wines with outstanding value by cultivating these exceptional regional vineyards using traditional methods combined with modern technology. It is the most mountainous vineyard in Greece, and with a size of 850 Ha is the largest vineyard in Macedonia.
