Description
The Naoumidis family cultivates and promotes genuine Florina pepper, producing innovative handmade products from local varieties of this PDO ingredient. In Agios Panteleimonas, a village of Florina Prefecture at an altitude of about six hundred meters, the Florina pepper thrives in a very dry microclimate and is grown organically, then processed in the family’s stone-built facility.
The family’s own seed plot ensures the quality and authenticity of this variety — hybrid or mutant seeds are outside their philosophy. A Pepper Museum worth visiting is located just 500 metres from the Piperadiko production facility.
