Thessaloniki Wine Show

The Thessaloniki Wine Show is the most important wine fare of the coming spring in Thessaloniki, bringing visitors to a journey into the wonderful world of Greek wines!

For two days at the Pavilion of Nations (6) of HELEXPO, wines from Greek grape varieties and new trends in winemaking meet in a unique way, presenting various ways of enjoying wine, the new markets, and the fun around it!

The Thessaloniki Wine Show having impressed already from its first appearance, come back again for the second time with more exhibitors and a rich program that will satisfy both the ever-growing wine lovers, as well as the professionals, traders, importers, buyers, and sommeliers.

The two-day event is organized by the creative team of Circo Entertainment and Wine Style, known for their thorough knowledge and love of wine and their experience in a multitude of successful projects.

At the Thessaloniki Wine Show you will find and experience:

• Over 120 renowned wineries, boutique wineries, and distribution networks with Greek wines.
• Innovative products and Greek producers who stand out for their high quality.
• Low Intervention Wines, Organic, Biodynamic and Vegan Wines will be presented as well as exclusively Soft or Zero Intervention, Biodynamic, Organic, and Vegan wines from all over Greece in a specially designed space.
  The selection of the wines and presentation will be organized by one of the best Greek Sommeliers, Theologis Plakopoulos, and his associates.
• Together with Theologis Plakopoulos behind the Bar, the producers will alternate talking about their wines and their approach to winemaking, their holistic theory, to sustainable cultivation, and the possibilities of producing quality wines with minimal or zero interventions.
• The top 20 wines of 2022.
  Aris Sklavenitis the best Greek Sommelier selects and presents the 20 wines that impressed him the most in 2022.
• Is there a relationship between a modern bartender/mixologist with Greek wine?
  Do Greek wines have a place in the basic ingredients used by a bartender/mixologist?

Eight selected bars of Thessaloniki answer emphatically yes and each one proposes two cocktails based on wine in a specially designed space that will be located on the Central Stage, mixologists from the eight selected bars will prepare and serve them. The 16 cocktails will be based on wine, they will be different from each other, with a minimum amount of 50 ml of wine, made exclusively from Greek varieties.

An essential component of Thessaloniki Wine Show 2023 will be the most inventive music that ever covered a Wine Show!
