Central Wine Fair unites producers from all corners of Attica, Thessaly, and Central Greece in what is considered to be the beloved annual roadshow of the three wine-producing regions that takes place in the “heart” of Athens.
This great event will be held on Monday, December 11, at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel.
Exceeding all expectations, more than 46 wineries will brave the Greek winter for this annual tasting, introducing to all visitors the spectacular terroir-driven wines of the show.
Being an exciting and varied mix of emblematic producers and emerging vignerons,
indigenous and international grape varieties, and different wine styles, the show
highlights the constant evolution of the three regions that places them at the top
“league” of the modern Greek wine industry.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an exclusive masterclass, featuring the first
Greek Master Sommelier and one of a mere 275 worldwide, Eleftherios Hanialidis
MS. Under the theme “5 Varietals – Diverse Perspectives,” Mr. Hanialidis will unveil
the multi facets and diversity that define the vineyards of Attica, Thessaly, and Central Greece.
