Description
On the slopes of the mythic Mount Kithairon, Attica, Gikas Winery carries four generations of vine cultivation history. Their 15-hectare vineyard is one of the most beautifully positioned in the region — producing wines that reflect the mythological landscape of the mountain where Oedipus was found as an infant. Our 15 ha vineyard, is located at the slopes of the mythic mountain Kithaironas of North East Viotia at an altitude of 450 meters, is cultivated with great care comprising the Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Savatiano, Vradiano, Augostiatis, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grape varieties. Our Winery is located in East Attica and has a capacity of 3000HL which is constantly supported by our own oenological laboratory.
