The wines from the islands of the Aegean Sea will be presented to the Athenian audience by their producers on Sunday, October the 21st, 2018, at ‘Aegli’ Zapeio (next to the Zapeio Megaro).
The tasting session event is open to the public free of charge, from 14:00 to 20:00 for wine-lovers and from 12:00 to 14:00 exclusively for professionals.
Wines from 12 Aegean islands (Ikaria, Kos, Lesvos, Limnos, Milos, Paros, Samos, Santorini, Sikinos, Rhodes, Tinos and Chios) will be presented from 29 wineries, small or big, new or established.
The event will feature wines from rare, native grape varieties, which constitute one of the strongest aspects of the country’s insular vineyard.
