Born and raised in Mesologgi, Konstantinos Pasiopoulos was instilled with two core values: freedom and the sea. For him, the iconic Pelades—the wooden shacks nestled in the saltwater lagoon—embodied the connection between his city, its aquatic heritage, and its culinary traditions.

This profound bond with his homeland and its flavours inspired him to establish Pasiopoulos AEBE in 2009, building on the family business journey that began in 1999 alongside his siblings. In 2011, his company broadened its horizons by opening a retail store that offers avgotaracho and other carefully selected, high-quality local products.

In response to the growing demand for Greek products and the need for innovation, he decided in 2012 to craft unique spirits that capture the taste and spirit of Mesologgi. His products quickly earned international acclaim, with Ouzo Pelada receiving a silver award in 2016 and a gold award in 2017 and Tsipouro Pelada securing a bronze award in 2017 during its inaugural participation in an international competition.

With every sip of Ouzo and Tsipouro Pelada, Konstantinos Pasiopoulos strives to share the authentic flavours and atmosphere of the saltwater lagoon with the world, keeping alive the stories woven into the fabric of the traditional Pelades of Mesologgi.
