The Siafarikas dairy and cheese company was founded in 1930 in Macedonia — beginning by collecting and processing milk from five small, well-organised farms in villages on the Pindos mountain range, producing butter and kaseri cheese. The company relocated in 1975 to a fully-equipped production plant in the Grevena prefecture, where it continues to work with collaborating farmers who breed their flocks in the Pindos valleys and produce goat and sheep milk of exceptional quality. Nearly a century of accumulated knowledge and continuously improved techniques underpin the consistent quality of Siafarikas products.
