Olive Oil Seminar at Pamako

In Chania, Crete, Pamako produces premium organic extra virgin olive oil by combining centuries-old cultivation traditions with 21st-century technology. Founded in 2014 by Eftychios Androulakis, Pamako is officially one of the few olive oils worldwide to carry a health claim for high phenol content approved under EU regulation 432/2012.

The “Let’s Talk About Olive Oil” seminar — designed by Eftychios Androulakis and Chloe Dimitriadis — explores all aspects of olive oil quality, especially those aspects often overlooked by mainstream international standards. You will learn how quality and taste are affected by olive variety, cultivation, harvest, production methods, and packaging.

Olive Mill Tour and Olive Oil Tasting

• Olive Oil Seminar: Learn the complete methodology of olive oil evaluation — colour, aroma, texture, and flavour — guided by Pamako’s expert producers in Chania
• Organic Production Tour: Walk the olive grove and enter the olive mill and bottling plant to see how cutting-edge technology preserves the integrity of organic Cretan olive oil
• Comparative Tasting: Taste and compare multiple olive oil varieties in a structured olive oil tasting session, concluding with local wine and traditional Cretan appetizers

All participants receive an analytical booklet on the course material. Please note this seminar is not suitable for young children, and advance registration is required.
