Description
Kourkoulou Winery was recently founded close to Rethymnon in Crete, just 22 kilometers from the town center.
The first bottles were produced from the 2017 vintage. It is a family-run winery, and the wines produced are based exclusively on local Cretan grape varieties.
Love of wine is the main reason why Kourkoulou family established this winery, turning its dreams into reality.
TOUR AND TASTING SESSION
• Visitors are welcomed to the specially-designed reception area with a glass of cool, fresh water. They are then guided through the vineyard next to the winery where they will learn and discuss about the winery’s history and of its vineyards.
• They will visit the production facilities, the wine cellar, and learn about the winemaking process and witness the winery’s modern equipment.
• Finally, a tasting session takes place on the first floor of the winery, where visitors can enjoy a stunning view from the terrace and make their purchases.
