Efrosini Winery began its journey in 1999 in the Heraklion Prefecture of Crete, not far from Dafnes — one of the island’s most important wine villages. From the very beginning, the family chose organic viticulture and a dual focus on exceptional local varieties — Liatiko, Kotsifali, Mandilari, Vidiano, Malvazia, Assyrtiko, and Thrapsathiri — alongside internationally recognised ones such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Chardonnay. With the invaluable assistance of experienced agronomists, enologists, and biologists, Efrosini has earned distinctions at both Greek and international competitions and welcomes visitors to witness first-hand the priority the family places on quality at every stage of winemaking and bottling.
