Description

Immerse yourself in the rich heritage of winemaking that spans generations at Artemis Karamolegos Winery. With roots tracing back to 1952 and built upon the time-honored traditions established by granddad Artemis, our winery has evolved into a dynamic force in contemporary winemaking. In 2004, grandson Artemis Karamolegos took the reins, investing in our state-of-the-art production facility and privately owned vineyards, resulting in the creation of wines of protected designation of origin (PDO). Today, we proudly stand as one of Santorini’s most vibrant and fastest-growing wineries.

At Artemis Karamolegos Winery, we strike a harmonious balance between respect for Santorini’s winemaking heritage and a modern, forward-thinking approach. Through constant investment in our vineyards and cutting-edge winemaking equipment, we have carved a path as a beacon of innovation in Santorini’s wine scene.

Our winery is deeply intertwined with the volcanic vineyards of Santorini, a terroir that lends uniqueness and character to our wines. With our own meticulously managed vineyards, along with collaborations with producers in Kamari, Messaria, Exo Gonia, Pyrgos, Megalochori, and Akrotiri, we ensure the highest quality grapes for our wines.

A visit to Artemis Karamolegos Winery is an immersive experience where you can witness the entire winemaking process unfold before your eyes. From the tanks and fermentation barrels to the awe-inspiring aging cellars and traditional presses, every step of our craft is open for exploration.

Indulge your senses in the art of wine tasting within the serene ambiance of our courtyard. Guided by our knowledgeable enologist, each wine is introduced with passion, offering insights into the winemaking process and sharing the distinctive characteristics of each varietal.

To further elevate your experience, our winery seamlessly integrates wine tasting with a delightful meal at the adjacent Aroma Avlis Food & Wine restaurant. Allow your palate to savor the perfect harmony of flavors as you savor our wines alongside a sumptuous dining experience.

Join us at Artemis Karamolegos Winery and unlock a world of sensory delights, where tradition and innovation converge to create extraordinary wines in the captivating setting of Santorini’s volcanic landscape.
