Once again, Cretan wine travels to Athens, showcasing eleven indigenous varieties, seven PDO zones, six PGI zones, and 27 wineries. Wine professionals and enthusiasts are invited for tastings and wine discussions.
You’ll have the unique opportunity to taste over 300 wines from Cretan and international varieties, both new and aged vintages, and meet the people behind the labels. Discover Vidiano, Liatiko, Thrapsathiri, Romeiko, Vilana, and other treasures of the Cretan Vineyard.
Parallel Event at 6:00 PM:
Wine journalist Nikos Manesis introduces “Travel Notes from Crete” at a side event, sharing his experiences across the Cretan vineyards through miles of travel and walking on the island.
