Join the five-day celebration from October 30 to November 3, 2024, in the beautiful courtyard of the Zappeion, the 8th Honey Festival, an exciting event that has become an annual tradition!

This festival is for young and old, offering a vibrant showcase of honey, pollen, propolis, royal jelly, and a range of hand-picked products that pair perfectly with nature’s most nutritious gift from bees.

In the heart of Athens, beekeepers and producers from across Greece will gather to share their love for honey and the wealth of our land. Over 80 small producers, including many young and emerging beekeepers, will present their unique honey varieties, combined with high-organic-value superfoods from every corner of Greece.

Come explore the rich world of beekeeping, and taste rare honey from regions such as Vytina, Kalymnos, Chalkidiki, Mani, and many more! This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet the producers directly, learn about their processes, and discover why bees are so essential to our environment.

The festival will be filled with fun and informative activities, including:

  • Expert presentations on beekeeping and bee products
  • Talks on the critical role of bees in nature
  • Interactive games and much more!

You’ll also be able to purchase selected foods such as herbs, spices, cheeses, spoon sweets, and other local delights from across Greece.
