Piperis Winery

The passion to produce and the love for good wines together with what earth can offer to a table of friends, were the main reasons that led Piperis family to build this model and traditional winery located on the Island of Rhodes in Apollona village, in a beautiful natural landscape.
The knowledge about wine in the family was always there since it comes from generation to generation as this mountain village (Apollona) was always surrounded by vineyards.
The winery’s facilities meet the most modern standards, with new generation machinery, to produce the best possible wines, highlighting the character of Greek grape varieties of the island.

TOUR AND TASTING

Visitors will be guided through the winery’s facilities and learn about the history of the winery, the Greek grape varieties of the island, and the production process.
Follows a tasting session of six different wines accompanied by traditional Greek graviera, homemade olive paste, and local olive oil.
Visitors may purchase wines from the retail shop before leaving.
