Skevofilax Winery

Skevofilax Winery is a family-owned boutique winery on Kos Island, founded in 2010 in the Karydies area of Kefalos. Starting with a 20-acre vineyard, the first bottles reached the local market by 2012; the vineyards now span 40 acres.

Our Unique Terroir

The volcanic subsoil, sandy textures, and sea breezes of Kefalos combine with the island’s August meltemia to create a perfect environment for exceptional grape cultivation.

• West Side of Kos: Volcanic soils ideal for the Assyrtiko and Malagouzia varieties.
• East Side, Mount Dikaios Foothills: Clay soils cultivated with Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet, yielding exquisite rosé and red wines.

Welcome to Our Renovated Winery

Located in Kampos of Kefalos, our 300 sq.m. winery was fully renovated and energy-upgraded, reopening on May 1, 2024 — a modern, inviting space for an unforgettable wine-tasting experience on Kos.
