Olympia Land Estate is a family winery that began producing small quantities of quality wines in the early 2000s in Koskina — a small village 2 km from the heart of ancient Olympia and 20 km east of Pyrgos in Peloponnese — on land where the owners’ ancestors were cultivating vines 150 years ago. A modern winery was established in 2008, and the initial 14 hectares — crossed by the river Kladeos in the fertile valley of Olympia — grew to 40 hectares with the introduction of varieties including Moschofilero, Roditis, Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Agiorgitiko, Augoustiatis, and international varieties. The 14 initial Ha of the family vineyard, crossed by the river Kladeos in the unique and fertile valley of Olympia, were planted with Moschofilero and Roditis varieties and grew up to 40 Ha over the following years by the introduction of Greek varieties such as Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Agiorgitiko, Augoustiatis, and international such as Chardonnay, Syrah, and Merlot.
