Corfu Beekeeping Vasilakis Premium Tour

The Vasilakis family has been engaged in beekeeping since 1981. Their love for bees and passion for this work results in the production of high-quality hive products — honey, pollen, royal jelly, and honey-filled honeycombs — from Corfu, Ionian Islands.

Today the family’s second generation produces certified organic apiary products in a modern processing plant inaugurated in 2007, operating an ISO 22000 certified HACCP system and an in-house chemical laboratory to ensure quality excellence.

Upon arrival, visitors receive special protective suits to get close to the beehives. A hive is opened to witness the bees’ life and discuss the beekeeper’s job. On the way back to the production premises, visitors receive explanations about production methods and bee products before a tasting session concludes the visit.
