The Greek Fine Food Exhibition
The award-winning EXPOTROF – The Greek Fine Food Exhibition returns for the 9th iteration at Mec Peanias from Saturday 04 to Monday 06 February 2023, with a rich program of gastronomic events and more than 350 quality producers. EXPOTROF inaugurates a new era of Food to Business (F2B) actions, aimed at strengthening Greek production and entrepreneurship. For three days, 9th EXPOTROF welcomes the producers of the most premium products in an event full of business meetings and educational culinary events.
EXPOTROF becomes the first purely B2B exhibition of artisanal products of small production and delicatessen products in Greece. In this context, Greek companies from retail, tourism and catering sectors as well as important decision makers from international markets meet directly with Greek producers in the “Buyers Square” section.
For 2023, EXPOTROF designed a Hosted Buyer program exclusively for professionals and decision makers abroad. Selected buyers from Canada, Dubai, Romania, Poland, Italy, Singapore, the Arab Emirates, Cyprus and of course Greek companies have already expressed their interest in EXPOTROF exhibitors. Hotel groups such as HotelBrain, Tor Hotel Group and others have confirmed their presence at the 9th EXPO, while companies active in the Import-Export sector such as Mavrikos Imports, Grecki Market, Emporio Egnatia, P&P Prokopiou and others, embraced from the first moment this effort.
Furthermore, through the digital platform www.thedelifair.gr, the exhibitors will present their products for free for a whole year.
In addition, specialized seminars will be held at the show. Sustainability, Farm to Table and Authenticity are the three bases of this year parallel events. Distinguished guests will cook and present the trends that have dominated the culinary industry. Every day, speakers from the fields of gastronomy, marketing and social media will present success stories and cooking techniques in a rich program of open space seminars. The beloved Workshops for Generation Next and FoodInions will be presented as well. Also a plethora of executive Chefs will present a taste tour of Greece through the live event “Cooking Greece”.
For 2023, EXPOTROF – The Greek Fine Food Exhibition honors the Region of Central Macedonia. 25 producers of the region will present their best products through culinary events.
Finally, the Athens Fine Food Awards 2023, the most important quality and taste awards for Greek producers of Premium products will take place in the 9th EXPOTROF on Sunday 5th of February
