The Greek Fine Food Exhibition

EXPOΤROF has become synonymous with promoting premium Greek products, and now it’s marking its 10th anniversary with a special event. Over the past ten years, the exhibition has become an essential gathering for Greek and international decision-makers in the food and beverage industry, showcasing exceptional Greek products. Staying true to its core values of quality promotion and innovation, EXPOΤROΦ – THE GREEK FINE FOOD EXHIBITION welcomes more than 400 exclusive exhibitors from Saturday, February 1st to Monday, February 3rd, 2025. Representatives from the retail, catering, tourism, and hotel sectors will participate in this three-day event packed with trade agreements.

The 11th edition of EXPOΤROF will showcase the best of Greek gastronomy, with the added presence of international participants, offering Greek producers direct commercial opportunities. Moreover, selected buyers from countries such as Singapore, Canada, Dubai, Romania, Poland, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, and of course Greece will gather in the dedicated Buyers Square area, providing substantial export prospects for participating companies.

Featuring a wide range of over 2,000 high-quality products including fine wines, cheese, brewery products, bee products, olive oil, and organic goods, the exhibition presents a unique opportunity for the 50+ international buyers visiting through the Hosted Buyers program to engage directly with Greek producers and explore their offerings.

Parallel to the exhibition, a series of culinary events and professional seminars will take place over the three days. For the first time, a dedicated area will host an extra virgin olive oil tasting, led by olive oil expert and consultant Mr. Yannis Karvelas. Visitors will discover the secrets of extra virgin olive oil, learn about different varieties, advantages, and defects, and receive valuable tips for selecting premium olive oil. Additionally, sommelier Christos Siomos will guide visitors through the Wine Walk tasting square, unveiling the secrets of fine wines, including different varieties, acidity levels, and flavour profiles.

In 2025, the specialized seminars and workshops “Food Expert Stories” will keep industry professionals abreast of the latest culinary trends and practices. Chef Kostas Bougioouris will also welcome esteemed colleagues in the “Cooking Greece” section.

As part of its 11th-anniversary celebration, EXPOTROF proudly welcomes the Region of Central Macedonia as its honoured region. Many professionals operating within the region’s boundaries will be present at the exhibition, showcasing the region’s finest offerings. A gastronomic event will feature renowned chefs creating traditional recipes using products from the exhibitors, including cheese, olive oil, vinegar, juices, sweets, jams, sauces, pastries, and of course, wines from the region.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the culinary treasures of the Region of Central Macedonia directly from the producers, savour their exquisite products, and establish new business partnerships.

Lastly, within the framework of EXPOΤROΦ – THE GREEK FINE FOOD EXHIBITION, the Athens Fine Food Awards (AFFA) 2025 will present their prestigious quality and taste awards, evaluating Greek food through a blind-tasting process.
