Mekila is a drink made from prickly pears, which are the wild fruit of a cactus that grows in Amorgos and all over Greece.
It is produced using the distillate of prickly pears and of grapes combined with honey and herbs. Fans of this kind of drink will be enthused by the flavor of uniquely Greek, white or yellow, mekila.
