The first gastronomy festival in Heraklion Crete, the “Heraklion Gastronomy Festival 2018, olive oil, wine, rusk”, will take place from the 23rd to the 27th of September at the Venetian harbour, aiming to make the city a gastronomic destination.
The festival will serve as a proposal from the travel agents to their customers, who will have the opportunity to get in touch with the richness of Cretan cuisine by tasting a multitude of recipes in a three-day feast of flavours. The visitor will be able to taste old and new recipes having as main products the olive oil, the wine and the rusk.
The festival will include lectures on gastronomy and cultural events.
