Description
Louloudis Winery, located in Dafnes, Heraklion, Crete, traces its roots back to 1920, when grandfather Antonis Louloudis began cultivating the island’s traditional grape varieties—Liatiko, Taktas, and Kotsifali.
Since 1999, his grandson, also named Antonis, has continued the family legacy, blending generations of Cretan winemaking heritage with a contemporary vision and a deep respect for the land.
At our winery, we place special emphasis on authentic Cretan grape varieties, expressing the unique identity of our terroir through every label. Each wine is a reflection of Crete’s history, climate, and character.
Today, our annual production reaches 120,000 bottles. Our wines are consistently recognized at prestigious national and international competitions, including the Thessaloniki Wine & Spirits Trophy, Decanter World Wine Awards, and Frankfurt International Wine Trophy.
Guided by a philosophy of quality-driven winemaking, we proudly produce certified Vegan wines, moving forward with respect for the environment, tradition, and the enduring future of the Cretan vineyard.
Tour and Tasting
Enjoy a complete wine-tour experience at our winery, set among rolling vineyards and the breathtaking natural landscape that surrounds us. Depending on weather conditions, the tour takes place either outdoors—immersed in the vineyards—or indoors, in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our winery, always ensuring the most enjoyable experience for our guests.
The visit concludes with a guided tasting of four signature wines, thoughtfully paired with an assortment of artisan cheeses, cured meats, and crisp breadsticks, offering a true taste of Cretan hospitality.
