Liepouris Winery

Liepouris Winery was founded in 1952 by grandfather Dimitrios in Keratea, close to Athens Airport in Attica – Athens. Now managed by his grandson Dimitrios, the estate has replaced traditional equipment with modern technology while preserving the local character of its wines — placing particular emphasis on retsina aged in oak barrels to achieve exceptional quality. The 18-hectare vineyards are planted with Savatiano as the dominant variety, alongside Mandilaria, Agiorgitiko, Muscat of Hamburg, and Malagousia — all indigenous Greek grape varieties. Our vineyards stretch across an area of 18 hectares and produce between 3,000 and 4,000 kg/ ha, of the Savatiano variety as the dominant one, as well as Mandilaria, Agiorgitiko, Muscat of Hamburg, and Malagousia, all Greek grape varieties.
