The Tzivani family has been dealing with viticulture and winemaking using exquisite grape varieties since 1982 close to Halkida on the island of Euboea. In their 28 Ha privately-owned organic vineyards in Ritsona and Arma of Viotia prefecture, they grow high-quality Greek and international varietals such as Malagouzia, Agiorgitiko, Athiri, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, among others.
The estate is located in an area of unparalleled beauty, known since antiquity for its microclimate and ideal for the production of excellent wines. The altitudinal differences and soil composition contribute to the complexity and peculiarity of the flavours and aromas that distinguish the wines of this biodynamic Euboea estate. The wines have received gold awards in Berlin, Lyon, Vienna, Shanghai, Daejeon (Korea), Tokyo, London, and elsewhere.
The museum in Ritsona, 20 km from Halkida, recognised by the Ministry of Education in Greece, offers visitors the opportunity to admire a vast collection of winemaking tools — wine presses, grape crushers, distillation devices, barrel making tools, and more — alongside olive oil mills, presses, and jars, as well as artefacts concerning textiles, musical instruments, and the history of glass, curated by Giorgos, Chrissi, and Yiannis Tzivanis.
A wine tasting of three wines concludes the visit.
