Avantis Estate is located 4 km southeast of Chalkida, in the village of Mytikas, in the heart of the Lilantio plain on the island of Euboea. The farmhouse was built in 1936 in the traditional Lilantio style — in that era, grapes were pressed by foot and the must flowed naturally into underground fermentation tanks. These historic premises now house the estate’s tasting room, alongside a modern winery that continues the Avantis tradition dating back to 1830.
