The Mystakellis dairy company tradition began in 1962 on the island of Lesbos, Aegean Islands, at the old dairy plant of Stratis Mystakellis in Mandamados — 35 km north of Mytilene town.

His son Yiannis expanded and modernised the operation in 2015, drawing on 30 years of accumulated knowledge from the same dedicated personnel who have delivered consistent quality to consumers for decades.
