The Mystakellis dairy company tradition began in 1962 on the island of Lesbos, Aegean Islands, at the old dairy plant of Stratis Mystakellis in Mandamados — 35 km north of Mytilene town. His son Yiannis expanded and modernised the operation in 2015, drawing on 30 years of accumulated knowledge from the same dedicated personnel who have, through constant improvement, delivered consistent quality to consumers for decades. The rich, pesticide-free flora of Lesbos — its diverse plants and herbs, endless sunshine, and the saltiness of the sea — alongside free-ranging sheep and goats of a special Lesbos breed, create milk of extraordinary character.
