Description
We are a passionate group of individuals who deeply appreciate nature and aim to share our vision with our valued guests. Our journey began in 2012 with a mission to create a future where people can live harmoniously and sustainably within a natural environment. Over the years, we have dedicated ourselves to cultivating a diverse range of traditional seeds, engaging in environmental projects with local school children, and actively participating in initiatives for wildlife conservation, including the “LIFE Bonelli eastMed” project focused on preserving Bonelli’s Eagle.
Nestled in Pyrgos, we are proud owners of a charming farm and a cozy tavern. Our farm spans approximately 3 acres and boasts a remarkable assortment of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. We offer captivating farm tours, allowing visitors to experience the sights, fragrances, and flavors of nature while also learning about the agroecological methods we wholeheartedly endorse.
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Our experience commences at “Dasaki” restaurant, where visitors enjoy a light meal accompanied by refreshing beverages. Following this, we embark on a journey to a nearby farm, either by car or on foot, immersing ourselves in the local lifestyle of a self-sufficient farm. Our knowledgeable staff enlightens the guests about various plants and the agroecological methods utilized for cultivation.
Depending on the season, we participate in tasks such as picking herbs, vegetables, and fruits. Throughout the experience, our experienced team remains readily available to address any queries regarding farming procedures. Subsequently, we return to “Dasaki” to prepare a delectable meal using the seasonal ingredients we collected, offering a hands-on cooking course guided by our experts. Finally, we relish the natural goodness of our collective efforts.
The menu boasts a diverse array of dishes, including seasonal salads, tzatziki, omelets, chickpea balls, zucchini balls, feta cheese, saganaki, sausage, roasted chicken, and a local vegetable mixture from Messara. We take great care in tailoring the menu to accommodate the preferences and food allergies of our esteemed guests.
