Liepouris Winery was founded in 1952 by grandfather Dimitrios in Keratea, close to Athens Airport in Attica – Athens. Now managed by his grandson Dimitrios, the estate has replaced traditional equipment with modern technology while preserving the local character of its wines — placing particular emphasis on retsina aged in oak barrels.
The 18-hectare vineyards are planted with Savatiano as the dominant variety, alongside Mandilaria, Agiorgitiko, Muscat of Hamburg, and Malagousia — all indigenous Greek grape varieties cultivated in the Mesogia wine region of Attica.
