The Lafkiotis family has been producing wines at Ancient Kleones, close to Nemea in Peloponnese, since 1963. With more than 60 years of accumulated experience, the winery selects the best grapes from the region’s vineyards to produce wines in its modern facilities — ageing selected wines in French oak barrels in its air-conditioned cellar to achieve the full complexity the Agiorgitiko variety can offer. Lafkiotis wines are exported to Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Austria, USA, the Netherlands, Australia, Denmark, Poland, Japan, Czech Republic, France, Cyprus, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, and the UK, and distributed in Greece’s finest restaurants and wine shops.
