Description

Zahaios winery is located at the heart of the Mesogia region in Peania, Attica, and integrates the region’s traditional architecture with the wine culture of Attica.
Around the stone-built winery trees and plants create a charming ambience.

TOUR AND TASTING

Visitors will first see the traditional marble wine press and visit the sweet wine cellar where they can see a 10-minute informative film presenting the entire process the wine production. Then they will visit the modern winery and the aging cellar where wines mature.
During the harvest season, from mid-August to the end of October, visitors may participate in the traditional grape stomping, stepping barefoot on the grapes, and witnessing the old way of wine-making of the region.
