Zahaios Winery is located at the heart of the Mesogia region in Peania, Attica – Athens, integrating the region’s traditional architecture with the wine culture of Attica. • Traditional Wine Press & Cellar: Begin with the traditional marble wine press and visit the sweet wine cellar — watching a 10-minute informative film presenting the complete wine production process from vine to bottle.
• Modern Winery & Ageing Cellar: Continue to the modern winery and ageing cellar, learning how Zahaios balances traditional Attic wine culture with contemporary winemaking technology.
• Grape Stomping & Wine Tasting: During harvest season (mid-August to end of October), participate in the traditional barefoot grape stomping before tasting the Zahaios range — experiencing Mesogia wine culture as it has been celebrated for centuries.
