We are a small boutique winery that offers guests warm household hospitality.
The Papantoni Winery was officially founded in 1992 by the brothers Antonis and Kalli Papantoni. Its vineyards cover roughly 5 hectares and are located just outside Malandreni, near the town of Argos town, at an altitude of 320 meters.
The estate, acquired in 1979 after extensive research, belongs, under Greek law, to the viticultural region whose Designation of Origin is Nemea. The winery is located in Argos at a distance of 15 km from the vineyard and is outfitted with modern red and white winemaking equipment.
TOUR AND TASTING
After welcoming visitors, we present the winery, briefly describing the company philosophy.
A guided tour of the winery’s premises enables visitors to learn about the process of wine production.
Visiting the cellar containing the wine barrels, we explain the process of ageing of the red wines and then continue to the cellar where the bottles are aged.
Last but not least, we visit the bar area to taste the wines, accompanied by local cheeses and other delicacies, and discuss wine…
