Description
Giorgos Manolesakis has been cultivating his vineyards in Adriani, Drama prefecture, since 1989 using international grape varieties perfectly adapted to the regional microclimate, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Ugni Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah.
He devoted himself to enriching knowledge in viticulture, producing quality grapes and top-notch wines exclusively from his privately-owned vineyards, while seeking to highlight the peculiar character of each variety. In the early 2000s, the constant research and pioneering spirit of the owners led them to plant indigenous varieties such as Malagouzia, Moschato of Alexandria, Assyrtiko, Limnio, Moschomavro, and Agiorgitiko.
A winery was established in 1998, under the distinctive title Manolesakis Estate, equipped with the state-of-the-art technology necessary for a modern winery to produce high-quality wines, in conjunction with the great expertise of our scientifically trained staff.
