Description

In the beautiful small village of Kapsia in Arcadia, next to the enchanting fir forest of mt. Mainalon, the old mansion of grandfather Evangelos Kalogri, was restored based on tradition and the architectural materials and elements of the place. Evangelos Kalogris junior, by fully respecting his grandfather’s wish, opened the doors of the mansion to the public by creating a small traditional family winery, the first in Peloponnese that was certified as visitable – open to the public ,by the Greek Ministry of Tourism.
The visitor can see up close the aging of the wine in the underground cellars and enjoy the organic natural wines in the wine tasting room next to the fireplace, accompanied by traditional handmade delicacies.
The outdoor areas, with a unique view of the forest and the stone-built settlement, are an ideal choice for spring and summer.
The wines come from the family’s owned organic certified vineyards and the vinifications are made using only natural methods, without additives.
Varieties: Moschofilero, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon.
Exports to America, Canada, England, Denmark & Sweden.
