“Eliaki Zythopia” (Elis Brewery), the first brewery in Elia prefecture, was founded in Lantzoi, not far from Pyrgos, by Andreas Papadakos, Dionysia Datsopoulou-Brintziki and Dionysios Brintzikis in 2012.
The largest brewery in southern Greece, it is the realization of a “dream of passion and glory.” It represents one of Greece’s largest investments in beer, featuring state-of-the-art equipment led by the all-important human factor, which counts first.
With a capacity of more than 40,000 hectoliters of beer, our brewery uses photovoltaic panels and geothermal energy to supply its power needs.
Olympica Magna beer is not pasteurized, has no artificial coloring, contains no chemical additives or preservatives for taste, clarity or appearance, and derives its carbonate from a natural, second fermentation, giving it a balanced and rich flavor.
It is made of Greek malt, selected hops, aromatic herbs and water from the mountain springs of Mt. Erymanthos.

During your visit to the Elis Brewery you will be given a tour of our facilities, observe and meet our brewers in action at the bottling plant, and the storage tank area.
You will also have the opportunity to taste different types of beer and specialized varieties in our cellar.
