The Pan-Hellenic Organization “FETA 2018” (September 14-16) is a major European-wide event involving the Public Sector, local self-government services, the European Union, Embassies, Feta and milk Producers, Equipment Providers, Packaging and Know-how in the Feta Production and Distribution companies, Research and Educational Institutions, tourist companies, and companies disposing feta cheese from Greece and abroad.

The Elassona province is the largest dairy farming area in Greece.

Throughout the Pan-Hellenic Organization “FETA 2018”, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 until 22:00 you will be able to assist at:

Feta Exhibition
Location: Central Square of Elassona
Cheesemakers, cattle breeders, feta consumables, and feta equipment companies will exhibit their products.
Exhibition – tasting of feta cheese and other dairy products.
Location: 6th of October Str. (in front of Agios Dimitrios church)
Producers of feta cheese and other dairy products will sell their products.
Exhibition – Retail Shop of local products which are related to feta cheese
Location: 6th of October Str. (in front of Agios Dimitrios church)
The “The Feta Route in Elassona”, is an excursion experience for all the visitors at the event. Within the framework of this special event, routes will be planned for the most well-known livestock areas in the country.

The Pan-Hellenic Organization this year involves the Embassies of France, Germany, and Italy. The Embassies’ chefs put the feta cheese in their creations at the same time that their country’s chambers are discussing directly with the producers of the Organization the possibilities of expanding their exports in a B2B workshop that takes place during this year’s events.
