Katsaros Distillery

Katsaros Distillery, located 5 km south of Tirnavos in Thessaly, is the oldest ouzo distillery in Greece — and has successfully kept its recipe secret since 1856, despite countless challenges over more than 165 years. The Katsaros family produces their spirits with the knowledge and secrets of four generations, passed down with extraordinary care. Since the 1930s, Katsaros spirits have travelled across the world, collecting medals and quality distinctions at international fairs from 1889 to today — a testament to an unbroken tradition of excellence.
